The Leica Elmarit-S 30mm f/2.8 ASPH CS Lens is a wide-angle prime lens equivalent to 24mm in the 35mm format. This focal length is ideally suited to interior, architecture, and landscape shooting. The CS version of this lens incorporates a central shutter within the lens design to benefit working with high-speed flash sync at any shutter speed (maximum of 1/1000 sec.).

Lens designed for Leica S medium-format digital cameras.
Maximum f/2.8 aperture is ideal for low available light shooting as well as greater control over focus placement.
Central shutter permits flash sync at all shutter speeds from 8 to 1/1000 sec.
Rear-group type internal focusing maintains lens’ overall length and offers faster, more controlled performance for auto focusing.
